X-stream Pressure Washing LLC: Service Agreement & Terms of Conditions
1. Scope of Work and Fixed Pricing
X-stream Pressure Washing LLC (the "Company") will perform the services specifically described in the provided estimate. The quoted price is based on the visible and disclosed scope of work at the time of the estimate.
2. The No Surprises Additional Charges Policy
Notification: If, during the service, our technicians identify additional areas requiring cleaning or unforeseen conditions that require extra labor or specialized materials, we will pause work and notify you immediately of the additional cost.
The Choice is Yours: You have the absolute right to accept or decline the extra service.
Confirmed Consent: No additional charges will be added to your final bill without your confirmed authorization.
3. Documentation and Marketing Photos
To ensure quality control and property protection, X-stream Pressure Washing LLC takes before and after photos of all work areas.
Liability Protection: These photos serve as an essential record of the property’s condition prior to and following our service.
Marketing and Privacy: The Company may use these photos for promotional purposes to showcase our work. To protect your privacy, your specific house number and street address will never be shown in any marketing materials.
Opt-Out: Customers may choose to opt-out of marketing use by notifying us in writing.
4. Pre-Existing Damage and Faulty Seals
We perform a visual inspection before and during our cleaning process.
Immediate Notification: If we observe any faulty seals, failed caulking, cracked siding, or leaking windows/doors, we will notify you immediately.
Liability: The Company is not responsible for water intrusion or damage caused by these pre-existing conditions.
5. Customer Responsibilities and Furniture Assistance
Preparation: We ask that customers move all sensitive items (patio furniture, electronics, potted plants, rugs) away from the work zone and ensure all windows are tightly shut.
Assistance Policy: If you are physically unable to move furniture or heavy items, X-stream Pressure Washing LLC will gladly assist you in moving a reasonable number of items.
Liability Waiver for Moving: While we take the utmost care, the Company is not liable for any damage that occurs to items while assisting with their relocation.
6. Specialized Cleaning and Expectations
Tough Stains: Some stains may require specialized chemical treatments and additional labor. These may be cleaned or removed for an additional charge upon your approval.
Limitations of Cleaning: Please be advised that some stains cannot be completely removed due to age, surface porosity, or permanent chemical bonding.
Technician Advice: Our technician will advise you of any stains that cannot be removed completely upon discovery so that expectations are clear before work is finalized.
Gutter Tiger Stripes: Standard house washing will not remove vertical tiger stripes on gutters. These may be cleaned with our specialized Gutter Brightening service for an additional charge.
7. Safety, Plants, and Pets
Chemicals: We use professional-grade, biodegradable cleaning solutions. We pre-rinse and post-rinse surrounding plant life to ensure safety.
Safety Zone: Customers, children, and pets must remain indoors during the cleaning process and for at least two (2) hours following completion to allow surfaces to dry completely.
8. Scheduling and Michigan Weather
The Company reserves the right to reschedule services due to inclement weather (high winds, heavy rain, or temperatures below 40°F) to ensure quality and safety. We will provide as much notice as possible.
9. Payment Terms
Due Date: Payment is due in full upon completion of the service.
Accepted Methods: We accept Cash, Check, Credit Card, and Zelle.
Credit Card Processing: For credit card payments, a processing fee of 3.5% + $0.10 will be applied for same-day deposit/processing.
Insufficient Funds: A $50 fee will be applied to any bounced or insufficient checks.
Late Fees: Payments not received within 7 days of the invoice date will be subject to a late fee of 2% of the total balance for each day the payment remains outstanding.
10. Limitation of Liability
X-stream Pressure Washing LLC is a fully insured entity. However, our liability is strictly limited to the total amount paid for the service. The Company is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
11. Dual Confirmation Policy
To ensure total transparency, the Company utilizes a two-step confirmation process:
Digital Confirmation: By replying "READY" or "AGREED" to our pre-arrival text message, you are providing digital consent to these terms.
Physical Signature: A hard copy of this agreement will be provided on the day of service for a physical signature before work commences. Both forms of confirmation are considered legally binding.
